Garden Grove is a suburban city in Orange County California located in the Northern region. Passed through the State Route 22 also known as the Garden Grove Freeway, Garden Grove is a city occupied by a number of Vietnamese-American and Korean-American population. The result is a magnificent interplay of lights, colors and shadows within the main cathedral building. The Crystal Cathedral is also home to an ancient five-manual pipe organ built in 1962. The Garden Grove Playhouse, the Gem Theater and the Festival Amphitheater are three stage theaters found in Garden Grove CA, an indication of the residents’ love of the arts and culture.
Garden Grove goes by the by-line “the city of youth and ambition”, gearing towards economic growth and the preservation of culture and heritage. To date the population totals over 170,000 people – with diverse backgrounds and nationalities. The Strawberry Festival is Garden Grove’s oldest running annual event and among the largest in the western United States.
